8 places to go in Brazil – my Beyond Beauty column for Glamour, august issue

This is the debut of my fashion and lifestyle column for Glamour Brazil! And since their August issue was actually a big Brazil special, I decided to share a few hot spots and great finds from all over the country.

Fashion wise I’ve included Marcela B, a really cool shoe brand from Rio de Janeiro, and the Gallerist store at Shopping Cidade Jardim – this is the brick and mortar shop from the namesake e-commerce run by the four ultra stylish Cassou sisters, known for their great talent to spot up and coming brands and to select the most amazing pieces. I love that they’ve opened a “real” store where you can get the true Gallerist experience. (Must add that this mall is my favourite in São Paulo, so chic and green and pleasant and has the most amazing shops).

And for lifestyle I had to mention the unforgettable Remanso do Bosque restaurant in Belém, in the north of Brazil, a truly unique gourmet experience that’s worth including on your travelling bucket list, the Nomaa hotel in Curitiba, in the south of Brazil, one of the best and most good looking hotels in Brazil and the Cais do Sertão museum in Recife, in the Northeast, THE place to go if you want to understand a bit of the very rich and interesting local culture.

Back to São Paulo, my hometown, I’ve also picked the supercool Studio Bergamin design and decoration store and, for those who are tired of exploring around, my two favourite spas: Kennzur and Aigai.

Of course this is not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to exploring my beautiful and huge country, but I hope you like the tips and be sure to keep an eye for others I plan to share along the way in here!
