I went fot a mini summer break to Ibiza in August and thought I’d share what I loved the most on my October column for Glamour Brazil.
First, the indisputable Ibiza trends that will for sure resonate everywhere: lots of neon accessories, pom pom details on sandals, bags and caftans and glittery “bindis” wore on the forehead. From my own suitcase, two favourite items: the swimsuit with my name on it, by Brazilian brand Bruna Malucelli (she did a trunkshow on Moda Operandi) and oil texture sunscreen by Sisley and Lancaster – they protect while imparting the skin with that perfect glow!
Then, some tips on where to go and what to do in Ibiza:
. Not to miss: Watching the sunset and taking a dip in the ocean in Es Vedrà – an inexplicable energy! Also, a boat trip to Formentera and lunch at Juan y Andrea, sooo nice.
. To party: the open air afternoons at Ushuaia (we saw one of Avicii last shows, incredible!) and for the best electronic music, Circoloco at DC-10.
. To shop: there are several cute shops in the center of Ibiza and I also like the one at the Cala Bassa beach club – to buy loads of bracelets, long necklaces, caftans and other Ibiza / boho style items.
. To stay: our hotel was the ME Ibiza and I loved the design, the big room and the amazing pool. and that has an incredible design!
Three places that were highly recommended, but I didn’t manage to go (next time!): the shop / hotel Los Enamorados, in the north of the island, and restaurants Es Torrent, for paella, and La Paloma.
